Hello everyone! As of today, we have officially released V1.0.5 of YAB ?! Counts. This update is a bit smaller than last version, mostly improving on already implemented features. So without any further introduction, let's dive in.

Public API Update

When we released V1.0.2, we added the Public API. In this version, we massiveley overhauled the API key management system.

First off, we added the ability to name your API keys. This is useful if you have different API keys and want to distinguish them from each other.

Secondly, we overhauled the way you manage and view your API keys. You can now edit and delete your API keys.

We also improved the UI for the API key management page, making it look way better. (and now it doesn't show your full API key, so you don't need to worry about accidentally leaking it while streaming!)

Email Authentication

In V1.0.2, we added a feature to login to your Discord account which allowed you to create API keys. Now we've added support for logging in with your email if you don't have a Discord account. We plan on adding support for other forms of authentication very soon.

Advertisements

When we added support for Arc back in V1.0.2, we said we would add advertisements at some point but they wouldn't be annoying and just there to help us keep the service up and running for as long as we can. Well, they're here. You will now start to see advertisements in the core parts of YAB ?! Counts. Don't worry, they aren't intrusive and won't block your viewing experience and, as we said before, are only there to keep YAB ?! Counts running.

Bug fixes and other slight improvements

We also fixed some minor bugs in this version, including but not limited to:

  • "Line height" option not doing anything due to a CSS issue
  • Design inconsistencies
  • ...and more

We also added the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Copyright Policy, and a popup reminding you that we use cookies to improve the experience of YAB ?! Counts.

Conclusion

Thank you for reading all the way until the end. We hope you enjoy this new version of YAB ?! Counts as much as we enjoyed making it. Happy tracking and Happy 2024!
